Mac Skypephone Ease of Use
Using this Mac Skypephone couldn't be easier. Just plug the VR-Fidelity into any USB port. Select "C-Media Headphone Set" from the Sound settings in the Control Panel
For a laptop, this is all the sound you are likely to want. For a desktop, if you have external speakers you can plug them directly into the VR-Fidelity auxiliary output jack. Depending on your Mac, the VR-Fidelity Mac Skypephone may provide better sound than the internal card of the Mac.
When a call comes in, simply accept the call on your Mac and start talking: your days of scrambling to plug in headsets are over. Turn off any external speakers during the call to avoid echo.
Mac Skypephone Performance
Audio output and reception are excellent. The 360-degree microphone allows you to wander around the room while you talk. With a radius of nine feet, it's plenty of range for grabbing a file folder or book.
The echo canceling technology makes sure that the other caller's voice does not echo back. Full-duplex mode ensures that you can both talk at the same time. There is no muting of the other person's voice when you speak as with low-end speakerphones.
