Description
Simply the best way to enjoy all the music on your PC anywhere in your home.
This is how home audio should sound.
PC World said “It worked flawlessly” and gave the Sondigo Sirocco a
Very Good rating of 88 out of 100.
Featuring audiophile-grade lossless transmission and pure digital optical
output, the Sondigo Sirocco pleases even the most demanding ears. The Sondigo
Sirocco will play any audio your PC can play – it neatly sidesteps all DRM and
content protection issues by acting as a wireless sound card for your PC.
Simple Set-up
- 100% Compatible with all PC audio formats and all internet radio and media
- Rock solid streaming performance using standard 802.11 Wireless LAN
technology
The Sirocco Setup Wizard gets your Wireless Audio Bridge up and running on
your current wireless network in 3 easy steps.
- Connect Sirocco to your PC via Ethernet
- Install the software
- Go wireless!
PC World again: “The excellent PC setup utility swiftly configures the device
for your network and installs Sirocco's easy-to-use software for controlling the
PC connection as well as all of the device's audio features.”
Just insert the CD and follow along, and soon you will be streaming your
audio like never before. Connecting your Wireless Audio Bridge to your home
music system is also a breeze. Use the included optical digital cable to make a
single wire connection from your Sirocco to your AV Receiver for crystal clear
digital audio direct from the air to your ears. Or, if you prefer, use an analog
connection to get your Sirocco into your home system. Either way, the connection
takes minutes, and Sirocco comes with everything you need already in the box. We
even include a short extension for the power supply, because we think wall warts
are a pain too.
Stay in Control
For the ultimate home audio experience, there are several control solutions
available that work with Sirocco. At the top of the line is the Sondigo Commando
Remote Control, which gives you total remote control of your Sirocco(s) and your
media players. If you have your own WiFi- or Bluetooth-enabled cell phone, you
can also try our Salling Clicker Sirocco scripts to control the Sirocco
remotely. A third option is the ATI Remote Wonder, which allows you to control
your media players from anywhere in the house.
Multi-Channel. Multi-Use.
Anything that your PC can play, Sirocco can receive through the airwaves.
Playlists from any music player or from any store, in any format. PCM, WAV, WDM,
AAC and all protection schemes are legally and securely streamed from your PC to
your home music system. No hassles and no limits.
The Sirocco also supports up to 5.1 channels of audio, with Dolby Digital
through a single optical connection, or through the multichannel analog outputs.
Stream game audio, DVD movies, DVD-Audio†, and any other multi-channel content
to Sirocco for playback on your home theatre system.
You can put as many Sondigo Sirocco units around your house as you like and
