GameStar Names X-Fi Forte "The New Reference Sound Card"
Translated from German: "In practise the Forte 7.1 sounds excellent, but you will hear the difference to a conventional X-Fi card only with very good speakers or headsets. The Forte could be interesting for HiFi-fans, which also like to play, due to the enormous high sound quality."
Notes: 1) The X-Fi Forte is acknowledged as the new Reference Sound Card, meaning that it is the standard to which other soundcards will be compared.
