An Open Letter Regarding Older-Model Denon AV Receivers
Dear Auzentech Customers:
Support tickets placed by our customers indicate that Denon AV Receivers manufactured before 2008 in early 2008 or earlier may produce static during playback of high-definition bitstream audio via the Auzen X-Fi HomeTheater HD sound card.
Based on these support tickets, you will not experience this problem if you own a newer Denon receiver or a different brand of receiver.Our newer-model Denon receivers which we use for testing do not exhibit these problems, for example.
Although the problem seems to be confined to AV receivers manufactured by Denon in early 2008 or earlier, we are not suggesting that the receiver is at fault. Instead, we expect that there is a compatiblity issue that has resulted from changing specifications.
If you have an older model Denon AV Receiver and are experiencing this problem, all of us at Auzentech sincerely regret the inconvenience. We intend to have a solution as quickly as possible, and will post more Open Letters to keep you informed.
We are taking the following steps to address the issue:
1. Auzentech is opening a line of communication with Denon regarding the issue.
2. Auzentech is attempting to acquire an older-model Denon receiver for testing.
